Hello Everyone!
I want to start off by saying thank you for your patience.
We got all solo Red, Yellow, Green & Blue balloon dogs Quality checked and packaged on September 28th. Solo Pink & Purple dogs as well as Orders with multiple dogs were NOT packed. I will continue quality checking and packing when I return home. I will not have help for these so they will take a bit longer.
In total 300 Balloon Dogs were checked thoroughly, Fluffed, Packed and Labeled. This took all day (Sept 28th). I was lucky enough to have 5 friends come over to help and it still took all day. I'm saying this to remind everyone that I am one person and I'm trying my hardest while my unpaid friends help the best they can, lol.
Tonight (Oct 9th 2024) My partner and I Labeled all Solo Red, Yellow, Green & Blue Balloon dog packages for backers who have paid shipping. (woo hoo!)
If you have not paid shipping, If your card changed, if an error happened, ECT I don't have the authorization to charge for shipping again. I have to email Backerkit to initiate another wave of shipping charges. I'm going to give everyone some time to re-enter and edit their card information. I understand at this time some backers are having a hard time doing so, I'm currently working through options with my Backerkit manager at this time to resolve this.
REGARDLESS - I will not be charging the 2nd wave until after I return home from my BLFC and work trip. I leave for BLFC on October 11th and will not return home from my work trip until AFTER Halloween. PLEASE do not send me messages asking me to charge your cards for shipping, I will not ask Backerkit to do so until I'm home.
I understand that shipping has been confusing and frustrating, I don't fully understand it myself but im doing my best to figure it out!
If you have any questions after reading through everything in this update, let me know! I am slow to answer but will get to it when I have free time to do so.

We received 4 pallets and 75 boxes of Balloon Dogs today!
We had a delay on the shipment, I was told the 6th but they didn't arrive and I'm not sure why. (We rushed home from MegaPlex to make sure we made it on time, haha) I received a phone call yesterday though and sure enough, our pups we're delivered today at noon! Woo hoo!
I have a few friends coming over to help pack orders once we receive the last of our shipping supplies. While we wait for those last bits of supplies needed, I'm gonna spend a lot of time de-flattening the air sealed pups today! Each one needs to be quality checked and rolled through my hands to kick-start their re-fluffing. This does take some time per dog.
I'm going to set aside some time tomorrow as well to finalize shipping prices and sizes which means sometime soon you will all be charged for shipping. From my understating, I'll be able to ask Backerkit to send a notice before charging cards, So I'll do that! I don't believe that addresses can be changed at this time, but I'll triple check to see if I can change a setting so people can check/change anything they may need too.
Setting up Backerkits shipping will take me some time to do as well as fluffing. I'm going to shoot for the 18th/19th to get the first batch out. So 5 or 6 days from now!
The 4" Balloon Dogs are still in production. Anyone who also has a 4" Balloon Dog on their order along with a 12" Balloon Dog will receive their 12" Dogs first. I'll go ahead and ship the 4" Dogs separately when they get finished up!
The 5ft dogs are still being produced as well! I'll keep you all updated on those as well.

Balloon Dog Shipping Update!

Hi everyone!
First off, Thank you so much for your patience!
I wanted to make a quick update letting everyone know that the Balloon Dogs were shipped on 07-11-24. As of 8-03, They are officially in California! They're hanging out there briefly, waiting to be put on a train to Indiana (where I'm located!) We are expecting them very soon.
I spend some time cleaning out my garage for the whopping 75 BOXES of Balloon Dogs!
As a quick note- I am leaving town for a 2 week work trip on the 21st of August. (back to back Denfur & Megaplex conventions) I fully expect to receive the dogs before then. BUT - there is a chance I will be unable to ship them before I leave. I will be bringing these Balloon Dogs to these conventions. I will make 100% sure I set aside everyone's dogs before packing the trailer, so no order gets forgotten or lost.
I may be looking into setting up convention pickup(Denfur & Megaplex), so those of you attending can have the choice to pick up your balloon dogs in person and not have to pay for shipping! I'm not sure if this is possible & wont promise anything, but ill try! There's also a chance the balloon dogs don't make it to my home before the 21st. So until I have a definite delivery date, I wont be trying to offer in-person pickup.

Sorry for the delay on surveys, I ran into some trouble with backerkit and charging for shipping at a later date which is important for the type of campaign i decided to run.
Below is the same information from the last update with updated dates!
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. On May 31st, all surveys will be closed.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. (All surveys closed on May 31st)
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://balloon-dog-plush.backerkit.com/
